Off the Blocks
The kids and I got started this week with a little introduction on both parts. I showed them some of my latest work and work from last year’s class. I asked some of the common questions like “What would you like to do most this year in this class” and the overwhelming response was paint. I can handle that as long as I don’t run out of smocks and heavy duty cleaner. Didn’t get to use the Activboard this week as there wasn’t much need for the device. We go over art history next week however and I’m sure I can figure out a way to utilze the Activboard.

Let The Good Times Roll
After our school decided to invest in several Promethean Activboards and my art class was given access to one of the boards; I figured this would be a great opportunity to detail our experience with this new technology.
For those of you who don’t know, I’m currently teaching art classes for middle school students in Tampa, Florida. This is my third year teaching and I look forward to documenting the adventures of my students.
